About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of founderseries.org and any content, programs, or services provided by Founder Series Foundation (the "Foundation," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this site or participating in Foundation programming, you agree to these terms.

Founder Series Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization, currently in the process of incorporating and securing 501(c)(3) status.

Educational purpose only

Everything published by the Foundation — including the Build With Me curriculum, the Stories series, workshops, blog posts, talks, and any other content — is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

It is not:

• Legal advice.
• Financial, accounting, or tax advice.
• Investment guidance.
• A guarantee of any business, career, educational, or financial outcome.

You are responsible for consulting qualified professionals before making legal, financial, or business decisions based on anything you learn here.

Use of Foundation content

The Foundation publishes Build With Me and related materials to expand access to entrepreneurship and technology education. You are welcome to:

• Read, share, and reference Foundation content for personal learning, classroom use, or community programming, with attribution to Founder Series Foundation.
• Link to founderseries.org from your own materials.

Please do not:

• Republish Foundation content as your own, or remove attribution.
• Use Foundation content, name, or marks to imply endorsement of a product, service, or organization without our written agreement.
• Use Foundation content to train commercial AI models without our written agreement.

What we are not, again

Founder Series Foundation is not a staffing agency, recruiting company, workforce intermediary, training provider, or job placement organization. We do not place candidates with employers, guarantee job outcomes, or operate as an intermediary in employment relationships.

Mentorship, programming & participants

When you participate in Foundation programming as a learner, mentor, speaker, or volunteer, you agree to engage respectfully with everyone involved. The Foundation reserves the right to remove anyone from programming or community spaces for conduct that is harmful, harassing, or counter to the Foundation's mission.

Mentors and speakers volunteer their time and perspective. Their views are their own and do not necessarily represent the Foundation's positions.

Third-party links

The site and Foundation content may link to third-party websites, tools, or resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

Trademarks

"Founder Series Foundation," "Founder Series," and the "Build With Me" program name are marks of Founder Series Foundation. Please don't use them in a way that implies affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement without our written agreement.

No warranties

The site and all Foundation content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep information accurate, but we cannot guarantee it is current, complete, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Founder Series Foundation, its board, volunteers, mentors, partners, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or Foundation content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Founder Series Foundation is ultimately incorporated. Specific jurisdiction details will be updated here once incorporation is complete.
